Merry Christmas to all my friends.  Here are a few shots of my poinsettias and a couple altar flower arrangements. and as the Christmas Sales Season draws to an end, the greenhouse is already 25 percent restocked with Easter Lilies.

Here is a white casket spray with christmas accents that I designed this morning.

here is a Brides and Bridesmaid's Fall Bouquets. Both of these bouquets are oval shaped with Cinnamon Callas, Mango Mokara Orchids, Konfetti Roses, Champaigne Roses, Sweetheart Roses, Red Alstromeria and Hypericum Berries

Weeping angel with or without flowers.... here is a quick little highlight of some how foliages can add depth and visual interest to a bouquet.  Price: $61.95 with flowers.

here is the white casket spray after adding the bow and ribbon to it.  Also, a couple of little quick arrangements I made for Super Valu this morning.  The first is a  variation on a two rose bud vase.  Instead of babies breath, i used Eucalyptus, Curly willow and in place of a bow a sprig of pink hypericum berry.  Price $9.95. The third arrangement is a cylinder vase, that includes orange mini gerberas, curly willow, yellow oncidium orchids, peach LA hybrid lilies, baby eucalyptus and variegated aspidistra leaves and orange freesia. Price $29.95

I was posting over at the Miouxfloristgreenhouses.blogspot.com site and remembered I need to update over here as well.  Here are a couple of pictures of arrangements I made for birthdays and funerals this week.

Here are few quick shots of some of our new 2010 Fall Silk Arrangements.  As the temperatures begin to moderate and the mum plants fill out, our customers are making the transition to outdoor Fall decorations.  Remember a new fall indoor arrangement helps with that good fall feeling everyone has this time of year.

Usually, a customer will walk in the shop and ask for a bud vase.  They want to spend $15-$20, which would you choose?                                                                                     Traditional or something a bit more eye popping.

While supplies last we are selling our remaining inventory of Mandevilla and Hibiscus Plants. Treat yourself to these sun & heat loving plants.  There is still lots of time to enjoy all the color that these plants have to offer. This is the first of hopefully many many blogs at Mioux Florist.  This is a sister blog to Miouxfloristgreenhouses.blogspot.com, which is the greenhouse blog.  Mioux Florist.blogspot is going to be the flower shop blog. Today I am highlighting a casket spray and a small angel arrangement.  Both were for a funeral.  The casket spray is 38 Red Freedom Roses with 14 stems of White Dendrobium Orchids.  The greenery consisted of podocarpus, israeli ruscus and leather leaf. Angels are very popular with our sympathy customers.  Here is a bouquet with a pink and white angel. The flowers are purple liatris, yellow roses and pink gerberas.  The greenery is tapered-cut emerald, israeli ruscus and leather leaf. And lastly, the largest bouquet of 11 for a bridal shower this evening.  Included in this arrangement is White Dendrobium Orchids, Bi-colored white-eggplant callas, curly willow and israeli ruscus.  Simple-open-airy.
